2. How We Use Your Information

Display your profile to other users if you choose to make it public.

If you register as a pet service provider and set your profile to Public, the following information may be visible to other users:
Name
Profile photo
About Me/Biography
Services offered
Availability
Photos
General location (such as parish)
Any other information you choose to include in your public profile
Please do not include sensitive personal information in your public profile.
4. Push Notifications
If you enable notifications, BermyPaws may send notifications for:
New chat messages
You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share your information only:
When required by law.
To protect the rights, safety, or security of users or BermyPaws.
With trusted service providers who help us operate the App, such as Firebase services used for authentication, messaging, notifications, and data storage.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information while your account is active or as needed to provide our services.
If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information where reasonably practicable, except where we are required by law to retain certain information.

BermyPaws is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age.

BermyPaws uses third-party services, including Firebase, to provide authentication, cloud storage, messaging, and push notifications.
