Welcome to BermyPaws. By creating an account or using the BermyPaws mobile application (“App”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

1. About BermyPaws

BermyPaws is an online platform that connects pet owners with independent pet sitters and pet service providers in Bermuda. BermyPaws provides a directory of service providers and an in-app messaging feature to help users communicate.

BermyPaws does not provide pet care services, employ pet sitters, or act as an agent for any user.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use BermyPaws.

By using the App, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information.

• Keep your account information current.

• Notify BermyPaws immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Pet Owners

Pet owners may:

• Browse public profiles.

• Search for pet service providers.

• Send messages through the App.

Pet owners are responsible for conducting their own enquiries before engaging a service provider.

5. Pet Service Providers

Pet service providers are responsible for ensuring that:

• Their profile information is accurate.

• Their availability and services are kept up to date.

• Any licences, insurance, or certifications required by law are maintained.

Providers are solely responsible for the services they offer.

6. No Booking or Payment Services

At this time, BermyPaws does not process bookings or payments.

Any arrangements, agreements, payments, cancellations, or disputes between a pet owner and a service provider are made directly between those parties.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful purposes.

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.

• Provide false or misleading information.

• Upload offensive, harmful, or illegal content.

• Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the App.

BermyPaws reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Reviews and Profiles

Users are responsible for the information they publish.

BermyPaws may remove profiles or content that:

• Is inaccurate or misleading.

• Violates these Terms.

• Is offensive or inappropriate.

• Is reported and found to breach our policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

BermyPaws is a communication platform only.

We do not guarantee:

• The quality of any pet care services.

• The suitability of any pet service provider.

• The outcome of any agreement between users.

To the maximum extent permitted by Bermuda law, BermyPaws is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, dispute, or claim arising from arrangements made between users.

10. Privacy

Your use of BermyPaws is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, branding, graphics, and software associated with BermyPaws are the property of BermyPaws unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without prior written permission.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches these Terms or is used in a manner that may harm other users or the App.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Bermuda. Any disputes arising from the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bermuda.
